Noon

NA N/A نٓ وَالْقَلَمِ By the pen
قسم ہےقلم کی

قَلًمَ وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا and what
اور جو

NA وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ they write
لکھتےہیں وہ(فرشتے)

سَطَرَ يَسْطُرُونَ ١

قَلًمَ سَطَرَ

Noon. By the pen and what is written down (record).

68:2

مَآ Not

Ma

NA مَآ أَنتَ you (are)
ہےتو

NA أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ by (the) Grace
ساتھ فضل و نعمت

نَعَمَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord
تیرےرب کی
rabbika

رَبَّ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ a madman
یقیناً دیوانہ
bimajnoonin
ج ن ن
جنّ بِمَجْنُونٍ ٢

نَعَمَ رَبَّ جنّ

By the grace of your Rabb, you are not possessed.

68:3

وَإِنَّ And indeed
اوربیشک
Wainna

NA وَإِنَّ لَكَ for you
تیرے لیے

NA لَكَ لَأَجْرًا surely (is) a reward
البتہ اجر ہے

أَجَرَ Reward , Wages , Rent لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ without
نہ
ghayra
غ ي ر
غير غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ end
ختم ہونے والا
mamnoonin
م ن ن
مَنَّ مَمْنُونٍ ٣

أَجَرَ غير مَنَّ

Indeed, for you, there is a reward with no obligation.

68:4

وَإِنَّكَ And indeed you
اور بلاشبہ تو ہے
Wainnaka

NA وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلىٰ surely (are)
یقیناً اوپر

NA لَعَلىٰ خُلُقٍ (of) a moral character
اخلاقی میعارو مرتبے
khuluqin
خ ل ق
خَلَقَ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ great
بہت عظیم
AAatheemin
ع ظ م
عَظُمَ عَظِيمٍ ٤

خَلَقَ عَظُمَ

Indeed, you are of great character.

68:5

فَسَتُبْصِرُ So you will see

Fasatubsiru
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ and they will see

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand وَيُبْصِرُونَ ٥

بصُر بصُر

Then soon, you will see (you are endowed with understanding), and they will see (they will realize).

بِأَييِّكُمُ Which of you?
کہ تم میں کون ؟
Biayyikumu

NA بِأَييِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ (is) the afflicted one
مبتلا ہےفتنے میں

فَتَنَ الْمَفْتُونُ ٦

فَتَنَ

Who among you is being charmed (who is seduced)?

إِنَّ Indeed
یقیناً
Inna

NA إِنَّ رَبَّكَ your Lord
تیرا رب
rabbaka

رَبَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ He
وہی

NA هُوَ أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing
خوب جانتا ہے
aAAlamu

علِم أَعْلَمُ بِمَن of (he) who
ساتھ اس کےکون
biman

NA بِمَن ضَلَّ has strayed
بھٹک گیا
dalla

ضلّ ضَلَّ عَن from
سے
AAan

NA عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ His way
اس (اللہ)کی راہ
sabeelihi

سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ and He
اور وہ ہے
wahuwa

NA وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing
خوب جاننے والا
aAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ of the guided ones

bialmuhtadeena
ه د ي
هَدَى بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ ٧

رَبَّ علِم ضلّ سَبَلَ علِم هَدَى

Indeed, Your Rabb Knows who has gone astray from His path and who is rightly guided.

68:8

فَلَا So (do) not

NA فَلَا تُطِعِ obey
اطاعت کرناتو

طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ the deniers
جھٹلانے والوں کی

كَذَبَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٨

طَاعَ كَذَبَ

Then (O you, The Prophet) do not follow the liars.

68:9

وَدُّوا They wish
وہ چاہتے ہیں

و د د
ودّ وَدُّوا لَوْ that
کاش کہ

NA لَوْ تُدْهِنُ you should compromise
نرمی اختیارکرلےتو

د ه ن
دَهَنَ Oil , Paint , Deceit تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ so they would compromise

دَهَنَ Oil , Paint , Deceit فَيُدْهِنُونَ ٩

ودّ دَهَنَ دَهَنَ

They will love if you deceive so that they will deceive.

وَلَا And (do) not

NA وَلَا تُطِعْ obey
اطاعت کرناتو

طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey تُطِعْ كُلَّ every
ہر ایک

كُلّ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ habitual swearer
بہت قسمیں کھانے والے

حَلَفَ Swear , Ally حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ worthless
نہایت حقیرو ذلیل کی

مهن مَّهِينٍ ١٠

طَاعَ كُلّ حَلَفَ مهن

And do not follow anyone who swears, behaving despicably.

هَمَّازٍ Defamer
جو بڑا ہی نکتہ چین ہو

همز هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّآءٍ going about
چلتا پھرتا

مَشَى مَّشَّآءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ with malicious gossip
ساتھ میں چغل خور

Walks (around) with advancing (spreading) slandering (backbiting attributes).

مَّنَّاعٍ A preventer
بہت روکنے والا

مَنَعَ مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ of (the) good
بھلائی کے لیے

خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ transgressor
حد سے نکلنے والا
muAAtadin
ع د و
عَتُدَ Ready , Prepare , Ammunition مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ sinful
سخت گناہ گا
atheemin
أ ث م
أثِم أَثِيمٍ ١٢

مَنَعَ خَيرَ عَتُدَ أثِم

He prevents the good and is ready to offend.

بعُد بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ (all) that

NA ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ utterly useless
بد ذات (بھی)

Carries after that low meanness.

That he is with wealth and sons.

کہانیاں وافسانے ہیں

سَطَرَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ (of) the former (people)
پہلے لوگوں کے

ا و ل الْأَوَّلِينَ ١٥

تلو آ ىي -آية قَالَ سَطَرَ ا و ل

When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “fable myths of the ancients!”

سَنَسِمُهُۥ We will brand him

وَسَمَ Mark, Season, Distinguish, Award سَنَسِمُهُۥ عَلَى on

سونڈ وناک کے

خُرْطُوم Trunk , Hose الْخُرْطُومِ ١٦

وَسَمَ خُرْطُوم

Soon, We will put the title on (his) nose.

إِنَّا Indeed We

NA إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ have tried them
آزمایا ہم نے ان کو

بلو Test , Misfortune, Trial, Calamity, بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا as
جس طرح کہ

NA كَمَا بَلَوْنَا We tried
آزمایا تھا ہم نے

بلو Test , Misfortune, Trial, Calamity, بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ (the) companions

صَحِبَ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ (of) the garden

جنّ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ when

NA إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا they swore

قَسَمَ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا to pluck its fruit

صَرُمَ لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ (in the) morning

صَبُحَ مُصْبِحِينَ ١٧

بلو بلو صَحِبَ جنّ قَسَمَ صَرُمَ صَبُحَ

Indeed, We tested them like We tested the owners of the garden (farm land) when they took the oath that we will cut (the harvest) in the morning.

68:18

وَلَا And not
اور نہیں
Wala

NA وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ making exception

There will not be any exceptions.

68:19

فَطَافَ So there came

NA مِّن رَّبِّكَ your Lord

رَبَّ رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ while they
اس حال میں کہ وہ

NA وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ were asleep
سو ئے ہوئے تھے
naimoona
ن و م
نَامَ نَآئِمُونَ ١٩

طَافَ طَافَ رَبَّ نَامَ

Then (calamity) from your Rabb surrounded them while they were sleeping.

68:20

فَأَصْبَحَتْ So it became
پس ہو گیا(وہ باغ)

صَبُحَ فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ as if reaped
کٹی ہوئی کھیتی کی طرح

صَرُمَ كَالصَّرِيمِ ٢٠

صَبُحَ صَرُمَ

By the morning, (it became) as if it were cut off (in the past bygone).

68:21

فَتَنَادَوا And they called one another

ندا فَتَنَادَوا مُصْبِحِينَ (at) morning

ندا صَبُحَ

Then (in the morning), they called to one another.

NA أَنِ اغْدُواْ Go early
صبح صبح پہنچو تم

NA عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ your crop

حَرَثَ Farming , Plow , Cultivate حَرْثِكُمْ إِن if

NA إِن كُنتُمْ you would

ك و ن
كَانَ كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ pluck (the) fruit
پھل توڑنے والے
sarimeena
ص ر م
صَرُمَ صَارِمِينَ ٢٢

غَدَا حَرَثَ كَانَ صَرُمَ

“Go towards your cultivation if you are going to cut.”

فَانطَلَقُوا So they went
تو وہ چل پڑے

طَلُقَ فَانطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ while they
اس حال میں کہ وہ

NA وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ lowered (their) voices

خَفَتَ Inaudible , Fading , Silence يَتَخَافَتُونَ ٢٣

طَلُقَ خَفَتَ

So, they departed while they were lowering their voice.

NA عَلَيْكُم مِّسْكِينٌ any poor person
کوئی فقیر و مسکین
miskeenun

سَكَنَ مِّسْكِينٌ ٢٤

دَخَلَ يوْم سَكَنَ

“No poor (needy) person should come to you today.”

68:25

وَغَدَوْا And they went early
اور وہ نکلے صبح سویرے

غَدَا وَغَدَوْا عَلَىٰ with

NA عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ determination
روکنے(مسکینوں کو)

حَرِدَ Angry , Annoyed حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ able
قادر سمجھتے ہوئے

قدر قَادِرِينَ ٢٥

غَدَا حَرِدَ قدر

And they went in the morning, in anger with determination.

68:26

فَلَمَّا But when

NA فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا they saw it

NA إِنَّا لَضَآلُّونَ (are) surely lost

رَأَى قَالَ ضلّ

Then (but) when they saw it, they said, “We are at a loss.

68:27

بَلْ Nay!
(نہیں) بلکہ

NA بَلْ نَحْنُ We

NA نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ (are) deprived
محروم ہو گئے

حَرُمَ Forbidden , Unlawful , Sanctuary مَحْرُومُونَ ٢٧

حَرُمَ

But we are deprived.”

قَالَ قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ (the) most moderate of them
ان میں سے بہتر نے

وسط أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ Did not?
کیا نہیں؟

NA أَلَمْ أَقُل I tell
میں نے کہاتھا

ق و ل
قَالَ أَقُل لَّكُمْ you
تمہارے لیے
lakum

NA لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا Why not
کیوں نہیں
lawla

NA لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ you glorify (Allah)

سبح تُسَبِّحُونَ ٢٨

قَالَ وسط قَالَ سبح

The person in the middle among them said, “Did I not tell you, ‘Why you do not glorify Allah?’”

68:29

قَالُواْ They said
(تب) کہا انہوں نے

قَالَ قَالُواْ سُبْحَٰنَ Glory be
بالکل پاک ہے

سبح سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ (to) our Lord!
ہمارارب

رَبَّ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا Indeed we
بلاشبہ ہم

NA إِنَّا كُنَّا [we] were
تھےہم ہی
kunna
ك و ن
كَانَ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ wrongdoers

ظَلَمَ ظَالِمِينَ ٢٩

قَالَ سبح رَبَّ كَانَ ظَلَمَ

They said, “Praise be to our Rabb; we were unjust.”

68:30

فَأَقْبَلَ Then approached
پھر رخ کیے ہوئے

قَبِلَ فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ some of them
بعض ان کے

بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ to

NA عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ others
بعض کے
baAAdin
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ blaming each other

yatalawamoona
ل و م
لَامَ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ ٣٠

قَبِلَ بَعَضَ بَعَضَ لَامَ

"They then confront each other, blaming one another."

68:31

قَالُواْ They said
کہنے لگے وہ

ق و ل
قَالَ قَالُواْ يَاوَيْلَنَآ O woe to us!

NA يَاوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا Indeed we
بیشک ہم

NA إِنَّا كُنَّا [we] were
تھے ہم ہی

كَانَ كُنَّا طَاغِينَ transgressors
حد سے بڑھے ہوئے ۔ سرکش

طَغَا طَاغِينَ ٣١

قَالَ كَانَ طَغَا

They said, “O disaster on us, we were surely cruel.

عَسَىٰ Perhaps
بہت ممکن ہے

عَسَى عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ our Lord
ہمارارب

رَبَّ رَبُّنَآ أَن [that]

NA أَن يُبْدِلَنَا will substitute for us
بدلے میں دے دے ہمیں

بَدَلَ Change , Replace يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا a better
بہتر

خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا than it
اس سے

NA مِّنْهَا إِنَّآ Indeed we
بیشک ہم
inna

NA إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ to
طرف
ila

NA إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا our Lord
ہمارے رب کی
rabbina
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ turn devoutly
رغبت کرنے والے ہیں
raghiboona
ر غ ب
رَغِبَ Desire , Want , Prefer رَاغِبُونَ ٣٢

عَسَى رَبَّ بَدَلَ خَيرَ رَبَّ رَغِبَ

We hope our Rabb will replace better than this. To our Rabb, we turn.”

كَذَٰلِكَ Such
اس طرح سے
Kathalika

NA كَذَٰلِكَ الْعَذَابُ (is) the punishment
(ہواکرتا ہے)عذاب

عَذُبَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ And surely the punishment
اور بیشک عذاب
walaAAathabu
ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ وَلَعَذَابُ الْاٰخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter
آخرت کا
alakhirati
أ خ ر
أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الْاٰخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ (is) greater
بہت بڑھ کر (ہے)
akbaru
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ if
کاش کہ
law

NA لَوْ كَانُوا they
ہوتے وہ
kanoo
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ know
جان لیتے وہ
yaAAlamoona
ع ل م
علِم يَعْلَمُونَ ٣٣

عَذُبَ عَذُبَ أخر كَبَرَ كَانَ علِم

This is the punishment, but the punishment of the Hereafter is bigger if only they knew.

NA إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous

جنّ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ (of) Delight
نعمتوں والے

نَعَمَ النَّعِيمِ ٣٤

وقى عَنَدَ رَبَّ جنّ نَعَمَ

Indeed, for the devoted (God-fearing), there will be Blessed Gardens with their Rabb.

أَفَنَجْعَلُ Then will We treat?
تو کیا ہم کر دیں گے

جرم كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ ٣٥

جعل سلِم جرم

Should We make submissive Muslims the same as those who are unjust criminals?

68:36

مَا What?

NA مَا لَكُمْ (is) for you
تمہارے لیے

NA لَكُمْ كَيْفَ How?

كَيدَ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (do) you judge
فیصلہ کرتے ہو تم

حَكَمَ Judge , Decision , Wisdom تَحْكُمُونَ ٣٦

كَيدَ حَكَمَ

What is the matter with you? How do you decide (decree)?

یا (کیا)
Am

NA أَمْ لَكُمْ (is) for you

NA لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ a book
کتاب ہے
kitabun

كَتَبَ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ wherein
اس میں
feehi

فِي فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ you learn
پڑھتےوسکھاتے ہو تم
tadrusoona
د ر س
دَرَسَ Study , Education تَدْرُسُونَ ٣٧

كَتَبَ فِي دَرَسَ

Or is there a book with you that you study from?

إِنَّ Indeed
البتہ
Inna

NA إِنَّ لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے ہے
lakum

NA لَكُمْ فِيهِ in it
اس(کتاب) میں
feehi

فِي فِيهِ لَمَا what
خصوصاً وہ کچھ جو
lama

NA لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ you choose

takhayyaroona
خ ي ر
خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer تَخَيَّرُونَ ٣٨

فِي خَيرَ

That for you therein whatever you choose?

68:39

أَمْ Or
یا (کیا)
Am

NA أَمْ لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے

NA لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ oaths
قسمیں ہیں

يَمَنَ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا from us
اوپر ہمارے
AAalayna

NA عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ reaching
جا پہنچنے والی
balighatun

بلغ بَالِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ to
طرف
ila

NA إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ (the) Day

يوْم يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ (of) the Resurrection
قیامت کے
alqiyamati
ق و م
قَامَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ indeed
(جن کے پیشِ نظر)یقیناً
inna

NA إِنَّ لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے
lakum

NA لَكُمْ لَمَا (is) what
خصوصاً وہ کچھ جو
lama

NA لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ you judge
حکم کرتےجاؤ گے
tahkumoona
ح ك م
حَكَمَ Judge , Decision , Wisdom تَحْكُمُونَ ٣٩

يَمَنَ بلغ يوْم قَامَ حَكَمَ

Or is there an oath from Us, reaching up to the Day of Standing (throughout the time of this world), indeed, for you are (reward based on) whatever you decide?

68:40

سَلْهُم Ask them
پوچھ ان سے
Salhum

سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging سَلْهُم أَيُّهُم which of them?
ان میں سے کون ہے جو؟

NA أَيُّهُم بِذَلِكَ for that

bithalika

NA بِذَلِكَ زَعِيمٌ (is) responsible
ذمہ داروضامن ہے
zaAAeemun
ز ع م
زَعَمَ زَعِيمٌ ٤٠

سأل زَعَمَ

Ask them who is among them has a guarantee about that.

أَمْ Or
یا(کیا)
Am

NA أَمْ لَهُمْ (are) for them
لیے ان کے

NA لَهُمْ شُرَكَآءُ partners
شراکت دار ہیں(اللہ کے)

شَرِكَ شُرَكَآءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا Then let them bring

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ their partners

Or do they have partners? Then bring their partners if they are truthful.

NA فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they will be able
(سجدہ)کر سکیں گے وہ

طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ٤٢

يوْم كَشَفَ سَاقَ دَعَا سَجَدَ طَاعَ

On the Day when they will be uncovered from heels (each soul will be uncovered to their ultimate aim or ultimate intentions), they will be called upon to prostrate, but they will not be able to do so.

68:43

خَاشِعَةً Humbled
جھکی ہوں گی

خَشَعَ Submissive , Humility خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ their eyes

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ will cover them

سلِم سَالِمُونَ ٤٣

خَشَعَ بصُر رَهِقَ ذَلَّ كَانَ دَعَا سَجَدَ سلِم

Their eyes will be submissive; humiliation will take them over. They were called upon to do prostration when they were safe and sound.

68:44

فَذَرْنِى So leave Me

Fatharnee
و ذ ر
وَزَرَ فَذَرْنِى وَمَن and whoever
اور(ہر )کسی کو جو

NA وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ denies

كَذَبَ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا this
ساتھ اس کے

NA بِهَٰذَا الْحَدِيثِ Statement
کلامِ پاک (قرآن)کو

حَدَثَ الْحَدِيثِ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم We will progressively lead them

دَرَجَ Step by Step , Follow , Desk سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ from

NA مِّنْ حَيْثُ where
جہاں

حَيْثُ Wherever حَيْثُ لَا not

NA لَا يَعْلَمُونَ they know
جانیں گےوہ
yaAAlamoona

علِم يَعْلَمُونَ ٤٤

وَزَرَ كَذَبَ حَدَثَ دَرَجَ حَيْثُ علِم

So, leave Me and whoever denies this information; We will slowly advance towards them (step by step), from where they would never guess (know).

68:45

وَأُمْلِي And I will give respite

NA إِنَّ كَيْدِى My plan
میرا منصوبہ و تدبیر

كَيدَ كَيْدِى مَتِينٌ (is) firm
انتہائی مضبوط ہے
mateenun
م ت ن
متُن مَتِينٌ ٤٥

مَلَأَ كَيدَ متُن

And I give them respite (a long time). My plan is firm.

NA أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ you ask them
تو مانگتا ہے ان سے

سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا a payment

أَجَرَ Reward , Wages , Rent أَجْرًا فَهُم so they
کہ وہ

NA فَهُم مِّن from
سے
min

NA مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ (the) debt
تاوان
maghramin
غ ر م
غَرِمَ مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ (are) burdened
دبے جاتے ہیں
muthqaloona
ث ق ل
ثقل مُّثْقَلُونَ ٤٦

سأل أَجَرَ غَرِمَ ثقل

Or do you ask them for a reward so they suffer from the burden?

NA أَمْ عِندَهُمُ (is) with them
ان کے پاس سے

عَنَدَ عِندَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ the unseen

غَابَ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ so they
کہ وہ
fahum

NA فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ write it
وہ لکھ لیتےہیں اسے
yaktuboona

كَتَبَ يَكْتُبُونَ ٤٧

عَنَدَ غَابَ كَتَبَ

Or is there a (secret) invisible source, so they write it down?

فَاصْبِرْ So be patient
پس صبر کئے رکھ

حَالَ Turn , Change , Condition الْحُوتِ إِذْ when

NA إِذْ نَادَىٰ he called out
اس نے (اللہ کو)ندیٰ دی
nada
ن د و
ندا نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ while he
اس حال میں کہ وہ
wahuwa

NA وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ (was) distressed
بھرا ہوا تھا غم سے
makthoomun
ك ظ م
كَشَفَ مَكْظُومٌ ٤٨

صَبَرَ حَكَمَ رَبَّ كَانَ صَحِبَ حَالَ ندا كَشَفَ

So, be patient with the Decision of your Rabb, and do not be like the associate of the fish (Not be impatient like Prophet Yunus ibn Matta عليه السلام. May God bless him and grant him peace) when he cried out in distress.

رَبَّ رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ surely he would have been thrown

نَبَذَ لَنُبِذَ بِالْعَرَآءِ onto (the) naked shore
ایک چٹیّل میدان میں

ع ر ي
N/A بِالْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ while he
اس حال میں کہ وہ
wahuwa

NA وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ (was) blamed
مذموم وملامت زدہ ہوتا
mathmoomun
ذ م م
ذَمَّ Blame , Conscience مَذْمُومٌ ٤٩

دَرَك نَعَمَ رَبَّ نَبَذَ ذَمَّ

If it were not that favors of his Rabb reached him, he would have been thrown into the barren shore while he was rebuked.

68:50

فَاجْتَبَاهُ But chose him
مگر چن لیا اسے

جبى Choose , Prostration, Pick, فَاجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُۥ his Lord
اس کےرب نے

ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ and made him

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ of

NA مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ the righteous

صَلَحَ الصَّالِحِينَ ٥٠

جبى رَبَّ جعل صَلَحَ

But his Rabb answered him, and He made him among the righteous.

68:51

وَإِن And indeed
اور البتہ
Wain

NA وَإِن يَكَادُ would almost
قریب ہے

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve

كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ surely make you slip

زَلِقَ Slip , Slide لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ with their look

NA لَمَّا سَمِعُوا they hear
وہ سنتے ہیں

سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ the Message
ذکر(قرآن) کو
alththikra
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ and they say
اور وہ کہتے ہیں
wayaqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed he
بیشک وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجْنُونٌ (is) surely mad

lamajnoonun
ج ن ن
جنّ لَمَجْنُونٌ ٥١

كَادَ كَفَرَ زَلِقَ بصُر سَمَعَ ذَكّرَ قَالَ جنّ

Those who did not believe almost made you slip with their eyes after they heard the remembrance (Quran), and they said, “He is possessed!”

68:52

وَمَا And not
اور نہیں ہے
Wama

NA وَمَا هُوَ it (is)
یہ(قرآن)
huwa

NA هُوَ إِلَّا but
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ a Reminder
ایک نصیحت و یاد دھانی
thikrun
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ to the worlds
تمام جہانوں کےلیے
lilAAalameena
ع ل م
علِم لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ٥٢

ذَكّرَ علِم

But this is only a reminder for the Worlds.
