يَاأَيُّهَا O you
اے تم
Yaayyuha

NA يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ who
لوگو جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe!
ایمان والےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ لَا (Do) not
مت
la

NA لَا تُقَدِّمُوا put (yourselves) forward
آگے بڑھوتم
tuqaddimoo
ق د م
قَدَمَ تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ before
درمیان
bayna
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَ يَدَىِ before
ہاتھوں( سامنے)
yadayi
ي د ي
يدي يَدَىِ اللهِ Allah
اللہ
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger
اور اس کےرسول
warasoolihi
ر س ل
رَسِلَ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَاتَّقُوا and fear
اور ڈرو تم
waittaqoo
و ق ي
تقى وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ Allah
اللہ سے
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک
inna

NA إِنَّ اللهَ Allah
اللہ
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer
خوب سننے والا
sameeAAun
س م ع
سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ All-Knower

AAaleemun
ع ل م
علِم عَلِيمٌ ١

أَ مُنَ قَدَمَ بَا نَ يدي إِله رَسِلَ تقى إِلَٰه إِلَٰه سَمَعَ علِم

O you who believe! Do not put yourselves before Allah and His Messenger, but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing and All-Knowing.

49:2

يَاأَيُّهَا O you
اے تم
Yaayyuha

NA يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ who
لوگو جو

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe!
ایمان والےوہ

أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ لَا (Do) not
مت
la

NA لَا تَرْفَعُوا raise
بلند کروتم
tarfaAAoo
ر ف ع
رَفَعَ تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ your voices
تمہاری آوازیں
aswatakum
ص و ت
صَاتَ أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ above
اوپر
fawqa
ف و ق
فَاقَ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ (the) voice
آواز
sawti
ص و ت
صَاتَ صَوْتِ النَّبِىِّ (of) the Prophet
نبی ؐکے
alnnabiyyi
ن ب أ
نبأ النَّبِىِّ وَلَا and (do) not
اور مت
wala

NA وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا be loud
تم اونچا بولو
tajharoo
ج ه ر
جهر تَجْهَرُوا لَهُۥ to him
طرف اس کے
lahu

NA لَهُۥ بِالْقَوْلِ in speech
ساتھ خاص بات چیت کے
bialqawli
ق و ل
قَالَ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ like (the) loudness
جیسے کہ اونچا بولنا
kajahri
ج ه ر
جهر كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ (of) some of you
تم میں سے بعض کا
baAAdikum
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ to others
بعض کےلیے
libaAAdin
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito لِبَعْضٍ أَن lest

an

NA أَن تَحْبَطَ become worthless
ضائع ہو جائیں
tahbata
ح ب ط
حَبَطَ Failure , Defeat , Frustrate تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ your deeds
تمہارے اعمال
aAAmalukum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ while you
اور تم کو
waantum

NA وَأَنتُمْ لَا (do) not
نہ
la

NA لَا تَشْعُرُونَ perceive
ہو شعورواحساس تم کو
tashAAuroona
ش ع ر
شعر تَشْعُرُونَ ٢

أَ مُنَ رَفَعَ صَاتَ فَاقَ صَاتَ نبأ جهر قَالَ جهر بَعَضَ بَعَضَ حَبَطَ عَمِلَ شعر

O you, who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not publicly call him with words (with loud voices) as you call each other, lest your deeds get destroyed while you are unaware.

49:3

إِنَّ Indeed
بلاشبہ
Inna

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ lower
وہ پست رکھتے ہیں
yaghuddoona
غ ض ض
غَضَن Labor Difficulty , Wrinkle , Fold يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ their voices
ان کی آوازیں
aswatahum
ص و ت
صَاتَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِندَ (in) presence
نزدیک ۔ پاس
AAinda
ع ن د
عَنَدَ عِندَ رَسُولِ (of the) Messenger
رسول
rasooli
ر س ل
رَسِلَ رَسُولِ اللهِ of Allah
اللہ کے
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ those
یہ لوگ ہیں
olaika

NA أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ الَّذِينَ (are) the ones
وہ جن کو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ امْتَحَنَ has tested
آزما لیا
imtahana
م ح ن
مَحَنَ امْتَحَنَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ their hearts
ان کے دلوں کو
quloobahum
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ for righteousness

lilttaqwa
و ق ي
وقى لِلتَّقْوَىٰ لَهُم For them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ (is) forgiveness

maghfiratun
غ ف ر
غفر مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ and a reward
اور اجر
waajrun
أ ج ر
أَجَرَ Reward , Wages , Rent وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ great
بڑاعظیم
AAatheemun
ع ظ م
عَظُمَ عَظِيمٌ ٣

غَضَن صَاتَ عَنَدَ رَسِلَ إِله مَحَنَ إِلَٰه قلب وقى غفر أَجَرَ عَظُمَ

The hearts of those who lower their voices in the presence of the Messenger of Allah are examined by Allah (Allah tests them) for piety (devoutness, God-fearing) -for them is forgiveness and great reward.

49:4

إِنَّ Indeed
البتہ
Inna

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ call you
ندیٰ دیتے ہیں وہ تجھے
yunadoonaka
ن د و
ندا يُنَادُونَكَ مِن from
سے
min

NA مِن وَرَآءِ behind
پیچھے
warai
و ر ي
رَأَى وَرَآءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ the private chambers
حجروں کے
alhujurati
ح ج ر
حَجَر Stone الْحُجُرَاتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ most of them
ان میں سےبہت سارے
aktharuhum
ك ث ر
كَثَرَ Many , Numerous , More , Multiply أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا (do) not
نہیں
la

NA لَا يَعْقِلُونَ understand
عقل وسمجھ رکھتے وہ
yaAAqiloona
ع ق ل
عَقَلَ يَعْقِلُونَ ٤

ندا رَأَى حَجَر كَثَرَ عَقَلَ

People who call you from behind the rooms (chambers) are not reasonable (intelligent, wise).

49:5

وَلَوْ And if
اور اگرچہ
Walaw

NA وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ they
البتہ وہ
annahum

NA أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا had been patient
صبر کرلیتےوہ
sabaroo
ص ب ر
صَبَرَ صَبَرُوا حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ you came out
تو (خود)نکل آتا
takhruja
خ ر ج
خرج تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ to them
ان کی طرف
ilayhim

NA إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ certainly it would be
البتہ ہوتا
lakana
ك و ن
كَانَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا better
بہت بہتر
khayran
خ ي ر
خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَّهُمْ وَٱللّٰهُ And Allah
اوراللہ
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving
بڑا بخشنے والا
ghafoorun
غ ف ر
غفر غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful

raheemun
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate رَّحِيمٌ ٥

صَبَرَ خرج كَانَ خَيرَ إِلَٰه غفر رَحِمَ

It would be best for them to wait patiently until you come out to them. But Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

49:6

يَاأَيُّهَا O you
اے تم
Yaayyuha

NA يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ who
وہ لوگو جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe!
ایمان والےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ إِن If
اگر
in

NA إِن جَآءَكُمْ comes to you
آئے تمہارے پاس
jaakum
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ a wicked person
کوئی فاسق
fasiqun
ف س ق
فًسًق فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ with information
کسی خبرکے ساتھ
binabain
ن ب أ
نبأ بِنَبَأٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا investigate
پس تحقیق کر لیا کروتم
fatabayyanoo
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا أَن lest

an

NA أَن تُصِيبُوا you harm
پہنچاؤ تکلیف
tuseeboo
ص و ب
صاب تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا a people
کسی قوم کو
qawman
ق و م
قَامَ قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ in ignorance

bijahalatin
ج ه ل
جَهِلَ Ignorant , Foolish , Illiterate بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا then you become
پھر ہو جاؤ تم
fatusbihoo
ص ب ح
صَبُحَ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ over
اوپر(اس کے)
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ مَا what
جو
ma

NA مَا فَعَلْتُمْ you have done
تم نے کیا
faAAaltum
ف ع ل
فَعَلَ فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ regretful
پچھتانے والےونادمین
nadimeena
ن د م
نَدَمَ نَادِمِينَ ٦

أَ مُنَ جَاءَ فًسًق نبأ بَا نَ صاب قَامَ جَهِلَ صَبُحَ فَعَلَ نَدَمَ

O you, those who believe! When the unrighteous come to you with news, confirm with the clear proof (get it checked with indisputable evidence); otherwise, you may be (wrongly) aiming (going after) the nation in ignorance, and you will regret what you have done.

49:7

وَاعْلَمُوٓاْ And know
اور جان رکھوتم
WaiAAlamoo
ع ل م
علِم وَاعْلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ that
کہ بیشک
anna

NA أَنَّ فِيكُمْ among you
بیچ۔میں تمہارے
feekum

NA فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ (is the) Messenger
رسول ہیں
rasoola
ر س ل
رَسِلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ of Allah
اللہ کے
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ لَوْ If
اگر
law

NA لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ he were to obey you
وہ مان لیں تمہاری بات
yuteeAAukum
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey يُطِيعُكُمْ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى كَثِيرٍ much
بہت سارے
katheerin
ك ث ر
كَثَرَ Many , Numerous , More , Multiply كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ of
میں سے
mina

NA مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ the matter
معاملات
alamri
أ م ر
أمر الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ surely you would be in difficulty

laAAanittum
ع ن ت
لَعَنَ Curse , Damn , Abominable لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ but
اور لیکن
walakinna

NA وَلَٰكِنَّ اللهَ Allah
اللہ نے
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ حَبَّبَ has endeared

habbaba
ح ب ب
حَبَّ Love , Want , Like حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ to you
تمہارے لیے
ilaykumu

NA إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيمَانَ the Faith
ایمان کو
aleemana
أ م ن
يَمَنَ الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ and has made it pleasing
اور زینت بنا دیا اسے
wazayyanahu
ز ي ن
زَانَ Decorate , Adorn , Beautiful وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ your hearts
تمہارے دلوں کے
quloobikum
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ and has made hateful

wakarraha
ك ر ه
كَرِهَ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ to you

ilaykumu

NA إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ disbelief
کفروناشکری کو
alkufra
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ and defiance
اور فسق کو
waalfusooqa
ف س ق
فًسًق وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ and disobedience
اور نافرمانی کو
waalAAisyana
ع ص ي
عَصَى Disobey , Resist , Defy وَالْعِصْيَانَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those
یہ لوگ ہیں
olaika

NA أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ (are) they
وہ
humu

NA هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ the guided ones
ہدایت یافتہ وراشدو ن
alrrashidoona
ر ش د
رَشَدَ الرَّاشِدُونَ ٧

علِم رَسِلَ إِله طَاعَ فِي كَثَرَ أمر لَعَنَ إِلَٰه حَبَّ يَمَنَ زَانَ فِي قلب كَرِهَ كَفَرَ فًسًق عَصَى رَشَدَ

And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you. You will be in difficulty if he follows many of you in decisions. But Allah loves you for being faithful, making it pleasing in your hearts, and making you dislike ungratefulness, immorality, and disobedience. Those are on a rightly guided path.

49:8

فَضْلًا A Bounty
بطورفضل کے
Fadlan
ف ض ل
فَضَلَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ from
طرف سے
mina

NA مِّنَ اللهِ Allah
اللہ کے
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ وَنِعْمَةً and favor
اور انعام و احسان کے
waniAAmatan
ن ع م
نَعَمَ وَنِعْمَةً وَٱللّٰهُ And Allah
اوراللہ
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower

AAaleemun
ع ل م
علِم عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ All-Wise
حکمت والاہے
hakeemun
ح ك م
حَكَمَ Judge , Decision , Wisdom حَكِيمٌ ٨

فَضَلَ إِله نَعَمَ إِلَٰه علِم حَكَمَ

Favor from Allah and His blessings. Allah is All-Knowing, with All the Wisdom.

49:9

وَإِن And if
اور اگر
Wain

NA وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ two parties
دو گروہ ۔دو جماعتیں
taifatani
ط و ف
طَافَ طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ among
میں سے
mina

NA مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers
مومنوں ۔ایمان والوں
almumineena
أ م ن
أمُن الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُواْ fight
لڑ پڑیں آپس میں
iqtataloo
ق ت ل
قَتَلَ اقْتَتَلُواْ فَأَصْلِحُوا then make peace
توصلح کرا دو تم
faaslihoo
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا between both of them
ان دونوں کے درمیان
baynahuma
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِن But if
پس اگر
fain

NA فَإِن بَغَتْ oppresses
زیادتی کرے
baghat
ب غ ي
بغى بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا one of both
ان دو نوں میں سے ایک
ihdahuma
أ ح د
أحد One, Unity, Oneness, إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى on
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَى الْأُخْرَىٰ the other
دوسری کے
alokhra
أ خ ر
أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَاتِلُوا then fight
تو لڑو تم
faqatiloo
ق ت ل
قَتَلَ فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِى one which
اس سے جو
allatee

NA الَّتِى تَبْغِي oppresses
زیادتی کرتا ہے
tabghee
ب غ ي
بغى تَبْغِي حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ it returns
وہ لوٹ آئے
tafeea
ف ي أ
N/A تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ to
طرف
ila

NA إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ (the) command
حکم
amri
أ م ر
أمر أَمْرِ اللهِ (of) Allah
اللہ کے
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ فَإِن Then if
پس اگر
fain

NA فَإِن فَآءَتْ it returns
وہ لوٹ آئے
faat
ف ي أ
N/A فَآءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا then make peace
پھرصلح کرا دو تم
faaslihoo
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا between them
ان دونوں کے درمیان
baynahuma
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ with justice
عدل وانصاف کےساتھ
bialAAadli
ع د ل
عَدَلَ بِالْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوٓا and act justly
اورتم انصاف کرو
waaqsitoo
ق س ط
قسط وَأَقْسِطُوٓا إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک
inna

NA إِنَّ اللهَ Allah
اللہ
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ يُحِبُّ loves
پسندومحبت کرتا ہے
yuhibbu
ح ب ب
حَبَّ Love , Want , Like يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ those who act justly
انصاف کرنے والوں کو
almuqsiteena
ق س ط
قسط الْمُقْسِطِينَ ٩

طَافَ أمُن قَتَلَ صَلَحَ بَا نَ بغى أحد أخر قَتَلَ بغى أمر إِله صَلَحَ بَا نَ عَدَلَ قسط إِلَٰه حَبَّ قسط

If there are disputes between two believers, then resolve between them. But if one oppresses the other, fight the oppressor until he returns to follow the commands of Allah. If returned, then make peace between them with justice and fairness. Allah loves those who act with fairness.
