47:1

الَّذِينَ Those who
وہ لوگ کہ
Allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve

kafaroo

كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا and turn away
اور روکا انہوں نے
wasaddoo
ص د د
صَدَّ وَصَدُّوا عَن from
سے
AAan

NA عَن سَبِيلِ (the) way of
راہ
sabeeli
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِ اللهِ Allah
اللہ کی
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ أَضَلَّ He will cause to be lost
ضائع کر دیئے(اللہ نے)
adalla
ض ل ل
ضلّ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ١

كَفَرَ صَدَّ سَبَلَ إِله ضلّ عَمِلَ

Those who do not believe and hinder (obstruct) others from the path of Allah their deeds are lost.

47:2

وَالَّذِينَ And those who
اور وہ لوگ جو
Waallatheena

NA وَالَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُوا and do
اور کرتے رہے وہ
waAAamiloo
ع م ل
عَمِلَ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ righteous deeds
اچھے و نیک اعمال
alssalihati
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَآمَنُوا and believe
اور ایمان لے آئے وہ
waamanoo
أ م ن
أمُن وَآمَنُوا بِمَا in what
ساتھ اس کےجو
bima

NA بِمَا نُزِّلَ is revealed
نازل کیا گیا
nuzzila
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ to
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
محمد(ﷺ) کے
muhammadin
ح م د
حَمِدَ Praise , Commend , thanks مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ and it
اور وہ(ہے)
wahuwa

NA وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ (is) the truth
حق سچ
alhaqqu
ح ق ق
حَقَّ True , Real , Right , Correct الْحَقُّ مِن from
طرف سے
min

NA مِن رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord
ان کے رب
rabbihim
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبِّهِمْ كَفَّرَ He will remove
اس نے دور کر دیں
kaffara
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ from them
ان سے
AAanhum

NA عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ their misdeeds
ان کی برائیاں
sayyiatihim
س و أ
سَا ءَ Bad , Evil , Unfortunate سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ and improve
اور اصلاح کردی
waaslaha
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ their condition
ساتھ میں حال کی ان کے
balahum
ب و ل
بَال Condition , State بَالَهُمْ ٢

أَ مُنَ عَمِلَ صَلَحَ أمُن نَزَلَ حَمِدَ حَقَّ رَبَّ كَفَرَ سَا ءَ صَلَحَ بَال

While those who believe, and do righteous deeds, and believe in what was sent down on Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎ (Sallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-ʾālihī wa-Sallam), (peace be upon him and his progeny) and that is the truth from their Rabb, their sins will be covered for them (expiate from them their misdeeds), and their conditions will be corrected.

47:3

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ (is) because
اس لیے کہ بیشک
bianna

NA بِأَنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve
کافرو ناشکرےہیں وہ
kafaroo
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا اتَّبَعُواْ follow
پیروی کی انہوں نے
ittabaAAoo
ت ب ع
تبِع اتَّبَعُواْ الْبَاطِلَ falsehood
باطل کی
albatila
ب ط ل
بَطَلَ Invalid , False , Abolish الْبَاطِلَ وَأَنَّ and that
اوریہ کہ
waanna

NA وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ اتَّبَعُواْ follow
پیروی کی انہوں نے
ittabaAAoo
ت ب ع
تبِع اتَّبَعُواْ الْحَقَّ (the) truth
حق سچ کی
alhaqqa
ح ق ق
حَقَّ True , Real , Right , Correct الْحَقَّ مِن from
میں سے
min

NA مِن رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord
ان کے رب
rabbihim
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبِّهِمْ كَذَٰلِكَ Thus
اس طرح سے
kathalika

NA كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ presents
واضع بیان کرتا ہے
yadribu
ض ر ب
ضَرَبَ يَضْرِبُ اللهُ Allah
اللہ
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ لِلنَّاسِ to the people
بنی نوع انسان کے لیے
lilnnasi
ن و س
أَنِسَ لِلنَّاسِ أَمْثَالَهُمْ their similitudes
ان کی مثالیں
amthalahum
م ث ل
مَثَلَ أَمْثَالَهُمْ ٣

كَفَرَ تبِع بَطَلَ أَ مُنَ تبِع حَقَّ رَبَّ ضَرَبَ إِلَٰه أَنِسَ مَثَلَ

Those who did not believe followed falsehood, while those who believed followed the truth from their Rabb. That is how Allah gives examples to humankind.

47:4

فَإِذا So when
پھر جب(کبھی)
Faitha

NA فَإِذا لَقِيتُمُ you meet
مڈبھیڑ ہو تمہاری
laqeetumu
ل ق ي
لقِي لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ those who
ان لوگوں سے جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve
کافرو ناشکرےہیں وہ
kafaroo
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا فَضَرْبَ then strike
تو مارو ۔تو مارنا
fadarba
ض ر ب
ضَرَبَ فَضَرْبَ الرِّقَابِ the necks
گردنیں(ان کی)
alrriqabi
ر ق ب
رَقَبَ الرِّقَابِ حَتَّىٰٓ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا when
جب
itha

NA إِذَا أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ you have subdued them

athkhantumoohum
ث خ ن
ثخُن أَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْ فَشُدُّوا then bind firmly
تو مضبوط باندھ دو تم
fashuddoo
ش د د
شَدَّ Very , Very often , firm , strong فَشُدُّوا الْوَثَاقَ the bond
بیڑیوں ورسیوں سے
alwathaqa
و ث ق
وَثَقَ الْوَثَاقَ فَإِمَّا then either
پھریا تو
faimma

NA فَإِمَّا مَنًّا a favor
احسان کرنا
mannan
م ن ن
مَنَّ مَنًّا بَعْدُ afterwards
بعد(اس کے)
baAAdu
ب ع د
بعُد بَعْدُ وَإِمَّا or
یا پھر
waimma

NA وَإِمَّا فِدَآءً ransom
فدیہ وتاوان لینا
fidaan
ف د ي
فَدَى فِدَآءً حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ تَضَعَ lays down
ڈال دے
tadaAAa
و ض ع
ضَاعَ Lost , Waste , Neglect , Omission تَضَعَ الْحَرْبُ the war
حرب ولڑائی
alharbu
ح ر ب
حَرِبَ War , Mehrab , Angry الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا its burdens
اس کے ہتھیار
awzaraha
و ز ر
وَزَرَ أَوْزَارَهَا ذَٰلِكَ That
یہی ہے(حکم)
thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ وَلَوْ And if
اور اگرچہ
walaw

NA وَلَوْ يَشَآءُ had willed
چاہتا
yashao
ش ي أ
شِاءَ يَشَآءُ اللهُ Allah
اللہ
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ لَانتَصَرَ surely He could have taken retribution
البتہ بدلہ لے لیتا
laintasara
ن ص ر
نَصَرَ لَانتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ from them
ان سے
minhum

NA مِنْهُمْ وَلَٰكِن but
اور لیکن
walakin

NA وَلَٰكِن لِّيَبْلُوَ to test
تاکہ آزمالے
liyabluwa
ب ل و
بلو Test , Misfortune, Trial, Calamity, لِّيَبْلُوَ بَعْضَكُم some of you
تم میں سےبعض کو
baAAdakum
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضَكُم بِبَعْضٍ with others
بعض کے ساتھ
bibaAAdin
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بِبَعْضٍ وَالَّذِينَ And those who
اور وہ لوگ جو
waallatheena

NA وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا are killed
وہ قتل کئے گئے
qutiloo
ق ت ل
قَتَلَ قُتِلُوا فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى سَبِيلِ (the) way of
راہ
sabeeli
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِ اللهِ Allah
اللہ کے
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ فَلَن then never
پس ہرگز نہیں
falan

NA فَلَن يُضِلَّ He will cause to be lost
ضائع کر ے گا (اللہ)

ض ل ل
ضلّ يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ٤

لقِي كَفَرَ ضَرَبَ رَقَبَ ثخُن شَدَّ وَثَقَ مَنَّ بعُد فَدَى ضَاعَ حَرِبَ وَزَرَ شِاءَ إِلَٰه نَصَرَ بلو بَعَضَ بَعَضَ قَتَلَ فِي سَبَلَ إِله ضلّ عَمِلَ

When you meet those (in the battle) who are nonbelievers, strike on their necks. When you wear them out, bind them firmly. Then, after that, be kind to them with grace or with the ransom until the war has come to an end (ammunition of war is put down). That is how (it should be). And if Allah wanted, He could have taken retribution from them, but He tests some of you with others. As for those who are killed in the path of Allah, their deeds will not be lost.

47:5

سَيَهْدِيهِمْ He will guide them

Sayahdeehim
ه د ي
هَدَى سَيَهْدِيهِمْ وَيُصْلِحُ and improve
اوراصلاح کردے گا
wayuslihu
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَهُمْ their condition
ساتھ میں حال کی ان کے
balahum
ب و ل
بَال Condition , State بَالَهُمْ ٥

هَدَى صَلَحَ بَال

He will guide them, and their conditions will be improved.

47:6

وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ And admit them

Wayudkhiluhumu
د خ ل
دَخَلَ Penetrate , Internal وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ (to) Paradise
جنت میں
aljannata
ج ن ن
جنّ الْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا He has made it known

AAarrafaha
ع ر ف
عَرَفَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ to them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ٦

دَخَلَ جنّ عَرَفَ

And He will admit them into the Gardens. He has made known to them.

47:7

يَاأَيُّهَا O you
اے تم
Yaayyuha

NA يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ who
وہ لوگو جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe!
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ إِن If
اگر
in

NA إِن تَنصُرُوا you help
تم مدد کرو
tansuroo
ن ص ر
نَصَرَ تَنصُرُوا اللهَ Allah
اللہ کی
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ He will help you

yansurkum
ن ص ر
نَصَرَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ and make firm
اورجما دے گا
wayuthabbit
ث ب ت
ثَبُتَ Confirmed , Proven وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ your feet
تمہارے قدموں کو
aqdamakum
ق د م
قَدَمَ أَقْدَامَكُمْ ٧

أَ مُنَ نَصَرَ إِلَٰه نَصَرَ ثَبُتَ قَدَمَ

O you who believe! If you help Allah, He will help you and make you stand firmly (establish) on your feet.

47:8

وَالَّذِينَ But those who
اور وہ لوگ جو
Waallatheena

NA وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve
کافرو ناشکرےہیں وہ
kafaroo
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا فَتَعْسًا destruction (is)
پس ہلاکت و بربادی ہے
fataAAsan
ت ع س
تعِس Perish , Unhappy, Miserable, فَتَعْسًا لَّهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَّهُمْ وَأَضَلَّ and He will cause to be lost
اور اس نے ضائع کر دیئے
waadalla
ض ل ل
ضلّ وَأَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ٨

كَفَرَ تعِس ضلّ عَمِلَ

And (but) as those who did not believe, destruction for them, and He will cause them to lose their deeds.

47:9

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they
اس وجہ سے کہ بیشک وہ
biannahum

NA بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُوا hate
ناپسندکردیاانہوں نے
karihoo
ك ر ه
كَرِهَ كَرِهُوا مَآ what
جو
ma

NA مَآ أَنزَلَ has revealed
نازل فرمایا
anzala
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ أَنزَلَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ فَأَحْبَطَ so He has made worthless
پس اس نےضائع کر دیئے
faahbata
ح ب ط
حَبَطَ Failure , Defeat , Frustrate فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ٩

كَرِهَ نَزَلَ إِلَٰه حَبَطَ عَمِلَ

That is because they did not like what Allah Revealed (sent down), so He made their deeds useless.

47:10

أَفَلَمْ Do not?
کیاپھرنہیں ؟
Afalam

NA أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا they travel
سیر کی انہوں نے
yaseeroo
س ي ر
سَارَ يَسِيرُوا فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْأَرْضِ the earth
زمین کے
alardi
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا and see
پس دیکھ لیتے وہ
fayanthuroo
ن ظ ر
نَظَرَ فَيَنظُرُوا كَيْفَ how?
کیسا؟
kayfa
ك ي ف
كَيدَ كَيْفَ كَانَ was
ہوا
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ (the) end
انجام
AAaqibatu
ع ق ب
عَقَبَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ (of) those
ان لوگوں کا جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ مِن before them
(تھے)سے
min

NA مِن قَبْلِهِمْ before them
ان سے پہلے
qablihim
ق ب ل
قَبِلَ قَبْلِهِمْ دَمَّرَ destroyed
تباہی ڈال دی
dammara
د م ر
دَمَرَ Perish , Ruin , Destroyed دَمَّرَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ [over] them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ and for the disbelievers

walilkafireena
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا its likeness
اسی کی مانند
amthaluha
م ث ل
مَثَلَ أَمْثَالُهَا ١٠

سَارَ فِي أَ رَضْ نَظَرَ كَيدَ كَانَ عَقَبَ قَبِلَ دَمَرَ إِلَٰه كَفَرَ مَثَلَ

Do they not travel on the earth to see how the end was for those before them? Allah destroyed them, and for the nonbelievers, it is similar.

47:11

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ (is) because
کیونکہ بیشک
bianna

NA بِأَنَّ اللهَ Allah
اللہ(ہے)
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ مَوْلَى (is the) Protector
مولیٰ
mawla
و ل ي
وَلِيَ مَوْلَى الَّذِينَ (of) those who
ان لوگوں کا جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ وَأَنَّ and that
اوربیشک
waanna

NA وَأَنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ the disbelievers
ناشکروں و کافروں کا
alkafireena
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ الْكَافِرِينَ لَا (there is) no
نہیں(ہے)
la

NA لَا مَوْلَىٰ protector
کوئی مولیٰ
mawla
و ل ي
وَلِيَ مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ١١

إِلَٰه وَلِيَ أَ مُنَ كَفَرَ وَلِيَ

That is because Allah supports those who believe, and for the nonbelievers, there is no supporter for them.

47:12

إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک
Inna

NA إِنَّ اللهَ Allah
اللہ
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ يُدْخِلُ will admit
داخل کرے گا
yudkhilu
د خ ل
دَخَلَ Penetrate , Internal يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ those who
ان لوگوں کو جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُوا and do
اور کئے عمل انہوں نے
waAAamiloo
ع م ل
عَمِلَ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ righteous deeds
نیک و اچھے اعمال
alssalihati
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ (to) Gardens
(ایسی)جنتوں میں
jannatin
ج ن ن
جنّ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِى flow
(کہ)بہتی ہیں
tajree
ج ر ي
جَرَى تَجْرِى مِن from
میں سے
min

NA مِن تَحْتِهَا underneath it
اس (جنت)کےدامن
tahtiha
ت ح ت
تحْت Under , Below, Beneath, Lower, تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ the rivers
نہریں
alanharu
ن ه ر
نهر الْأَنْهَارُ وَالَّذِينَ but those who
لیکن وہ لوگ جو
waallatheena

NA وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve
کافرو ناشکرےہیں وہ
kafaroo
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا يَتَمَتَّعُونَ they enjoy
وہ فائدہ اٹھاتے ہیں
yatamattaAAoona
م ت ع
مَتَعَ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ and eat
اورکھاتے ہیں وہ
wayakuloona
أ ك ل
أكل Eat , Food, Consume, Destroy, وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا as
جیسا کہ
kama

NA كَمَا تَأْكُلُ eat
کھاتے ہیں
takulu
أ ك ل
أكل Eat , Food, Consume, Destroy, تَأْكُلُ الْأَنْعَامُ the cattle
جانورومویشی
alanAAamu
ن ع م
نَعَمَ الْأَنْعَامُ وَالنَّارُ and the Fire
اورآگ ہی
waalnnaru
ن و ر
نَار وَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى (will be) an abode
ٹھکانہ ہے
mathwan
ث و ي
ثوى Settle Down , Dwelling, Abode, مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَّهُمْ ١٢

إِلَٰه دَخَلَ أَ مُنَ عَمِلَ صَلَحَ جنّ جَرَى تحْت نهر كَفَرَ مَتَعَ أكل أكل نَعَمَ نَار ثوى

Allah will enter those who believe and do righteous deeds into gardens beneath which rivers flow. As for those who did not believe, let them enjoy themselves and eat as the animals eat, and will eventually dwell in the fire.

وَكَأَيِّن And how many
اورکتنی ہی
Wakaayyin

NA وَكَأَيِّن مِّن of
میں سے
min

NA مِّن قَرْيَةٍ a town

qaryatin
ق ر ي
قَرَى قَرْيَةٍ هِىَ which
جو کہ
hiya

NA هِىَ أَشَدُّ (was) stronger
زیادہ سخت تھی
ashaddu
ش د د
شَدَّ Very , Very often , firm , strong أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً (in) strength
قوت و طاقت میں
quwwatan
ق و ي
قَوِيَ قُوَّةً مِّن than
سے
min

NA مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ your town
تیری بستی
qaryatika
ق ر ي
قَرَى قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِىٓ which
جس سے
allatee

NA الَّتِىٓ أَخْرَجَتْكَ has driven you out

akhrajatka
خ ر ج
خرج أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ We destroyed them

ahlaknahum
ه ل ك
هَلَكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا so no
پھر نہیں تھا
fala

NA فَلَا نَاصِرَ helper
کوئی مددگار
nasira
ن ص ر
نَصَرَ نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ١٣

قَرَى شَدَّ قَوِيَ قَرَى خرج هَلَكَ نَصَرَ

And how many dwellings were more powerful than the dwelling that drove you out? We destroyed them, and there was no helper for them.

أَفَمَن Then is (he) who?
کیا پھر وہ جو ؟

NA أَفَمَن كَانَ is

NA عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ a clear proof
واضح و ٹھوس دلیل

بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن from
طرف سے

NA مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord
اس کے رب
rabbihi
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن like (he) who
مانند ہے اس کےجسے
kaman

NA كَمَن زُيِّنَ is made attractive

zuyyina
ز ي ن
زَانَ Decorate , Adorn , Beautiful زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ to him
لیے اس کے
lahu

NA لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ (the) evil
برے
sooo
س و أ
سَا ءَ Bad , Evil , Unfortunate سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ (of) his deeds
اعمال اس کے
AAamalihi
ع م ل
عَمِلَ عَمَلِهِۦ وَاتَّبَعُوٓا while they follow

waittabaAAoo
ت ب ع
تبِع وَاتَّبَعُوٓا أَهْوَآءَهُم their desires
ان کی خواہشات کی
ahwaahum
ه و ي
هوى أَهْوَآءَهُم ١٤

كَانَ بَا نَ رَبَّ زَانَ سَا ءَ عَمِلَ تبِع هوى

Is he who has clear proof (plain, evident) from his Rabb, like someone whose evil deeds have been decorated for him? And they follow their desires?

مَّثَلُ A parable

مَثَلَ مَّثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise
اس جنت کی

جنّ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِى which
جس کا کہ

NA الَّتِى وُعِدَ is promised
وعدہ دیئےگئے
wuAAida
و ع د
وَعَدَ وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ (to) the righteous
راستبازومتقی لوگ
almuttaqoona
و ق ي
تقى الْمُتَّقُونَ فِيهَآ Therein
اس میں
feeha

NA فِيهَآ أَنْهَارٌ (are) rivers
نہریں ہیں
anharun
ن ه ر
نهر أَنْهَارٌ مِّن of
میں سے
min

NA مِّن مَّآءٍ water
ایسےپانی
main
م و ه
مَا ءَ Water , Liquid , Hydraulic مَّآءٍ غَيْرِ not
نہیں ہے

غير غَيْرِ اٰسِنٍۢ polluted
بد بو دار

أ س ن
NF N/A اٰسِنٍۢ وَأَنْهَارٌ and rivers
اور نہریں ہیں

میں سے

NA مِّنْ لَّبَنٍ milk
(ایسے) دودھ

لبْن Milk , Yogurt , Dairy Products , لَّبَنٍ لَّمْ not

NA لَّمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ changes
تبدیل ہو گا (کبھی)

غير يَتَغَيَّرْ طَعْمُهُۥ its taste
اس کا ذائقہ
taAAmuhu

طَعِمَ طَعْمُهُۥ وَأَنْهَارٌ and rivers
اور نہریں ہیں

نهر وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ of
میں سے

NA مِّنْ خَمْرٍ wine
شراب
khamrin
خ م ر
خَمَرَ خَمْرٍ لَّذَّةٍ delicious
لذیذ ۔لذت والی
laththatin
ل ذ ذ
لذّ لَّذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ for (the) drinkers
پینے والوں کے لیے
lilshsharibeena
ش ر ب
شَرِبَ Drink , Soup لِّلشَّارِبِينَ وَأَنْهَارٌ and rivers
اور نہریں ہیں
waanharun
ن ه ر
نهر وَأَنْهَارٌ مِّنْ of
میں سے

NA مِّنْ عَسَلٍ honey
شہد

NF N/A عَسَلٍ مُّصَفًّى purified
صاف شفاف عمدہ

صَفَا مُّصَفًّى وَلَهُمْ and for them
اور ان کے لیے

NA وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا therein

NA فِيهَا مِن of
میں سے

NA مِن كُلِّ all
ہر قسم کے
kulli
ك ل ل
كُلّ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ fruits
میوے۔ پھل

ثَمَرَ Bear Fruit , profit الثَّمَرَاتِ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ and forgiveness
بخشش و مغفرت ہو گی
wamaghfiratun

غَنِمَ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّن from
طرف سے
min

NA مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ their Lord
ان کے رب
rabbihim
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبِّهِمْ كَمَنْ like who
(کیا وہ ہے؟)مانند
kaman

NA كَمَنْ هُوَ he
وہ
huwa

NA هُوَ خَالِدٌ (will) abide forever
ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں
khalidun
خ ل د
خَلَدَ Eternal , Immortal , Perpetuation خَالِدٌ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى النَّارِ the Fire
آگ کے
alnnari
ن و ر
نَار النَّارِ وَسُقُوا and they will be given to drink
اورپلائے جائیں گےوہ
wasuqoo
س ق ي
سَقَى Drink , Water , Irrigate وَسُقُوا مَآءً water
پانی
maan
م و ه
مَا ءَ Water , Liquid , Hydraulic مَآءً حَمِيمًا boiling
کھولتا ہوا(ایسا کہ)
hameeman
ح م م
حَمَّ Hot , Close Friend , Bath حَمِيمًا فَقَطَّعَ so it cuts into pieces
پس کاٹ ڈالے
faqattaAAa
ق ط ع
قَطَعَ فَقَطَّعَ أَمْعَآءَهُمْ their intestines
ان کی انتڑیوں کو
amAAaahum
م ع ي
NF N/A أَمْعَآءَهُمْ ١٥

مَثَلَ جنّ وَعَدَ تقى نهر مَا ءَ غير NF نهر لبْن غير طَعِمَ نهر خَمَرَ لذّ شَرِبَ نهر NF صَفَا كُلّ ثَمَرَ غَنِمَ رَبَّ خَلَدَ فِي نَار سَقَى مَا ءَ حَمَّ قَطَعَ NF

The example of the Paradise promised for the God-fearing: in this, there are rivers of water that will not go stale, and there are rivers of milk that will not change their food, and rivers of drinks made tasty for the drinkers and rivers of selected honey. And for them, there will be all kinds of fruits and forgiveness from their Rabb. (Can they be) Like one who will live eternally in the fire and be made to drink hot water that will cut through their intestines?

47:16

وَمِنْهُم And among them
اور میں سے ان کے
Waminhum

NA وَمِنْهُم مَّن (are some) who
(کچھ ایسے ہیں) جو

NA مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ listen
سنتے کان لگاتے ہیں

س م ع
سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ to you
تیری طرف
ilayka

NA إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰٓ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا when
جب
itha

NA إِذَا خَرَجُوا they depart
وہ نکلتے ہیں
kharajoo
خ ر ج
خرج خَرَجُوا مِنْ from
سے
min

NA مِنْ عِندِكَ you
تیرے پاس
AAindika
ع ن د
عَنَدَ عِندِكَ قَالُواْ they say
وہ کہتے ہیں
qaloo
ق و ل
قَالَ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ to those who
لیے ان لوگوں کے جو
lillatheena

NA لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ were given
دیئےگئے وہ
ootoo
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ the knowledge
علم

علِم الْعِلْمَ مَاذَا What?
کیا ؟

NA مَاذَا قَالَ (has) he said
کہا تھااس (پیغمبر)نے

قَالَ قَالَ اٰنِفًا just now
ابھی ابھی

N/A اٰنِفًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those
یہ لوگ ہیں

NA أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ الَّذِينَ (are) the ones
وہ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ has let a seal
مہر لگ جانے دی ہے
tabaAAa

طَبَعَ Print , Nature , Character طَبَعَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ عَلَىٰ upon
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts
ان کے دلوں
quloobihim
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاتَّبَعُوٓا and they follow
اور پیروی کرتے ہیں وہ
waittabaAAoo
ت ب ع
تبِع وَاتَّبَعُوٓا أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires
ان کی خواہشات کی
ahwaahum
ه و ي
هوى أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ١٦

سَمَعَ خرج عَنَدَ قَالَ أتى علِم قَالَ طَبَعَ إِلَٰه قلب تبِع هوى

Among them are those who listen to you, but then they go out (of your company) from you, then say to those who are given knowledge, “What did he say just now?” Allah has put a stamp (seal) on their hearts, and they follow their desires.

47:17

وَالَّذِينَ And those who
اور وہ لوگ جو
Waallatheena

NA وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا accept guidance
ہدایت قبول کرتےہیں
ihtadaw
ه د ي
هَدَى اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ He increases them

zadahum
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor زَادَهُمْ هُدًى (in) guidance
ہدایت میں
hudan
ه د ي
هَدَى هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ and gives them
اور عطا کر تا ہےان کو
waatahum
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْواهُمْ their righteousness
ان کا تقویٰ
taqwahum
و ق ي
تقى تَقْواهُمْ ١٧

هَدَى زَادَ هَدَى أتى تقى

And for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance and makes them attain devoutness (fear of Allah).

47:18

فَهَلْ Then do?
تو کیا؟
Fahal

NA فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ they wait
وہ منتظر ہیں
yanthuroona
ن ظ ر
نَظَرَ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا but
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ (for) the Hour
قیامت کی گھڑی کے
alssaAAata
س و ع
سَاعته Short Time , Hour , Watch , Clock السَّاعَةَ أَن that
کہ
an

NA أَن تَأْتِيَهُم it should come to them
آجائے ان کے پاس
tatiyahum
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً suddenly
اچانک
baghtatan
ب غ ت
بَغَتَ Unexpectedly , Surprise بَغْتَةً فَقَدْ But indeed
لیکن حقیقتاً
faqad

NA فَقَدْ جَآءَ have come
آ چکیں
jaa
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا its indications
اس کی علامات
ashratuha
ش ر ط
شَرَطَ أَشْرَاطُهَا فَأَنَّىٰ Then how?

faanna
أ ن ي
أنى فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ to them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ إِذَا when
جب
itha

NA إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ has come to them
وہ آجائےگی ان کے پاس
jaathum
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَاهُمْ their reminder
نصیحت حاصل کرنا ان کا
thikrahum
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ ذِكْرَاهُمْ ١٨

نَظَرَ سَاعته أتى بَغَتَ جَاءَ شَرَطَ أنى جَاءَ ذَكّرَ

Are they waiting for the time to come to them suddenly? It already came from its preconditions (signs started to come). But what (is the benefit) for them when their report (of their deeds) has (already) come to them?

47:19

فَاعْلَمْ So know
پس جان رکھ
FaiAAlam
ع ل م
علِم فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُۥ that [He]
وہ(اللہ)ہے
annahu

NA أَنَّهُۥ لَآ (there is) no
نہیں
la

NA لَآ إِلَٰهَ god

ilaha
أ ل ه
إِله god إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا but
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا اللهُ Allah
اللہ ہی
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ and ask forgiveness

غ ف ر
غفر وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنبِكَ for your sin
تیرے گناہ کے لیے
lithanbika
ذ ن ب
ذَنْب Offense , Sin , Crime , Guilty لِذَنبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ and for the believing men
اور سب مومنوں کے لیے
walilmumineena
أ م ن
أمُن وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ and the believing women

waalmuminati
أ م ن
أمُن وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَٱللّٰهُ And Allah
اوراللہ
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ knows
جانتا ہے
yaAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم يَعْلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ your movement
تمہارے چلنے پھرنے
mutaqallabakum
ق ل ب
قلب مُتَقَلَّبَكُمْ وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ and your resting places
اور تمہارے ٹھہرنے کو
wamathwakum
ث و ي
ثوى Settle Down , Dwelling, Abode, وَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ ١٩

علِم إِله إِلَٰه غفر ذَنْب أمُن أمُن إِلَٰه علِم قلب ثوى

Then know that there is no god except Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sins and the believing men and women. Allah knows your movements and settlement (resting place).

47:20

وَيَقُولُ And say
اور کہتے ہیں
Wayaqoolu
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ لَوْلَا Why not
کیوں نہیں
lawla

NA لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ has been revealed
نازل کی جاتی
nuzzilat
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ a Surah

sooratun
س و ر
سُور سُورَةٌ فَإِذَآ But when
پھر جب
faitha

NA فَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ is revealed
نازل کی
onzilat
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ a Surah
کوئی سورۃ
sooratun
س و ر
سُور سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ precise

muhkamatun
ح ك م
حَكَمَ Judge , Decision , Wisdom مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ and is mentioned
اور ذکر کیا گیا
wathukira
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا in it
اس میں
feeha

NA فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ the fighting
لڑائی و جہاد کا
alqitalu
ق ت ل
قَتَلَ الْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ you see
تو دیکھے گا
raayta
ر أ ي
رَأَى رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ those who
ان لوگوں کو کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى قُلُوبِهِم their hearts
ان کے دلوں
quloobihim
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease
بیماری وروگ ہے
maradun
م ر ض
مَرِضَ مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ looking
وہ دیکھ رہے ہوں گے
yanthuroona
ن ظ ر
نَظَرَ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ at you
تیری طرف
ilayka

NA إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ a look
دیکھنا(ایسےجیسے کہ)
nathara
ن ظ ر
نَظَرَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ (of) one fainting
غشی طاری ہو رہی ہو
almaghshiyyi
غ ش و
غَشَا الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ on him
اوپر اس کے
AAalayhi

NA عَلَيْهِ مِنَ from
بوجہ
mina

NA مِنَ الْمَوْتِ the death
موت
almawti
م و ت
مَاتَ الْمَوْتِ فَأَوْلَىٰ But more appropriate
پس ہلاکت ہے
faawla
و ل ي
وَلِيَ فَأَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ٢٠

قَالَ أَ مُنَ نَزَلَ سُور نَزَلَ سُور حَكَمَ ذَكّرَ قَتَلَ رَأَى فِي قلب مَرِضَ نَظَرَ نَظَرَ غَشَا مَاتَ وَلِيَ

Those who believe say, “If only a verse is sent down.” Yet when the verse is sent down with the decision and is mentioned to fight, you see those sick in their hearts with the look of fainting with death on him. So, it would be more appropriate for them! continued to next verse.

طَاعَةٌ (Is) obedience
اطاعت کرنا(اللہ کی)
TaAAatun

طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey طَاعَةٌ وَقَوْلٌ and a word
اور بات کہنا
waqawlun
ق و ل
قَالَ وَقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوفٌ kind
اچھی
maAAroofun
ع ر ف
عَرَفَ مَّعْرُوفٌ فَإِذَا And when
پھر جب
faitha

NA فَإِذَا عَزَمَ (is) determined
فیصلہ ہو گیا
AAazama
ع ز م
عَزَمَ عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ the matter
حکم وامر(جہاد کا)
alamru
أ م ر
أمر الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ then if

NA فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا they had been true
سچے رہتے وہ
sadaqoo
ص د ق
صَدَقَ صَدَقُوا اللهَ (to) Allah
اللہ سے
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ لَكَانَ surely it would have been
البتہ ہوتا
lakana
ك و ن
كَانَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا better
بہتر
khayran
خ ي ر
خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَّهُمْ ٢١

طَاعَ قَالَ عَرَفَ عَزَمَ أمر صَدَقَ إِلَٰه كَانَ خَيرَ

(to be) Obedient and (be with) kind words. When the matter was decided (to fight), if they were true to Allah, that would have been better for them.

47:22

فَهَلْ Then would?
پھر کیا؟
Fahal

NA فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ you perhaps
ممکن وبعید ہے تم سے

عَسَى عَسَيْتُمْ إِن if
اگر

NA إِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you are given authority
حکمران بن جاؤتم
tawallaytum
و ل ي
وَلِيَ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَن that
کہ

NA أَن تُفْسِدُوا you cause corruption
تم فساد پھیلادو
tufsidoo
ف س د
فَسَدَ تُفْسِدُوا فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْأَرْضِ the earth
زمین کے
alardi
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا and cut off
اور تم کاٹ ڈالو
watuqattiAAoo
ق ط ع
قَطَعَ وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا أَرْحَامَكُمْ your ties of kinship
تمہاری رشتہ داریاں
arhamakum
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate أَرْحَامَكُمْ ٢٢

عَسَى وَلِيَ فَسَدَ فِي أَ رَضْ قَطَعَ رَحِمَ

If you disobey (by) turning away, you will cause mischief in the earth and cut off the kinship.

47:23

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those
یہ لوگ ہیں
Olaika

NA أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ الَّذِينَ (are) the ones
وہ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ has cursed them
لعنت کردی ان پر
laAAanahumu
ل ع ن
لَعَنَ Curse , Damn , Abominable لَعَنَهُمُ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ so He made them deaf

faasammahum
ص م م
صَمَّ Deaf , Close , Resolve فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰٓ and blinded
اور اندھی کر دی
waaAAma
ع م ي
عَمِيَ وَأَعْمَىٰٓ أَبْصَارَهُمْ their vision
بصارت وصلاحیت
absarahum
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand أَبْصَارَهُمْ ٢٣

لَعَنَ إِلَٰه صَمَّ عَمِيَ بصُر

Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed. So He made them deaf and blinded their vision.

47:24

أَفَلَا Then do not?
کیاپھر نہیں؟

NA أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ they ponder
وہ غور و فکر کرتے

دبر يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْاٰنَ (over) the Quran
قرآن میں
alqurana
ق ر أ
قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنَ أَمْ or
یا (کیا)
am

NA أَمْ عَلَىٰ upon
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ (their) hearts
دلوں
quloobin
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا (are) locks
اس (قوم)کےتالے پڑے ہیں
aqfaluha
ق ف ل
قَفَلَ أَقْفَالُهَا ٢٤

دبر قَرَأَ قلب قَفَلَ

Do they not contemplate the Al-Quran? Or have their hearts been locked out?

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو

NA الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّواْ return
الٹےپھر گئے

NA عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِهِم their backs
ان کی پیٹھوں

دبر أَدْبَارِهِم مِّنْ from
سے

NA مِّنْ بَعْدِ after
بعد

ب ع د
بعُد بَعْدِ مَا what
جو
ma

NA مَا تَبَيَّنَ (has) become clear
واضح ہو گئی
tabayyana
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ to them
لیے ان کے
lahumu

NA لَهُمُ الْهُدَى (of) the guidance
ہدایت
alhuda
ه د ي
هَدَى الْهُدَى الشَّيْطَانُ Shaitaan
(پھر)شیطان نے
alshshaytanu
ش ط ن
شَيَطن Satan , Devil , Infernal الشَّيْطَانُ سَوَّلَ enticed

sawwala
س و ل
سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ [for] them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَىٰ and prolonged hope

waamla
م ل و
مَلَأَ وَأَمْلَىٰ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ٢٥

رَدَّ دبر بعُد بَا نَ هَدَى شَيَطن سأل مَلَأَ

Indeed, for those who rejected and turned their backs after the guidance became clear to them (they disbelieved after believing), the shaitan seduced them that (if they disbelieved) they could enjoy for a long time.

47:26

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they

biannahum

NA بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ [they] said
کہاانہوں نے
qaloo
ق و ل
قَالَ قَالُواْ لِلَّذِينَ to those who
لیے ان لوگوں کہ
lillatheena

NA لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُوا hate
ناپسندکردیاانہوں نے
karihoo
ك ر ه
كَرِهَ كَرِهُوا مَا what
اس(قرآن)کوجو
ma

NA مَا نَزَّلَ has revealed
نازل فرمایا
nazzala
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ نَزَّلَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ We will obey you

sanuteeAAukum
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى بَعْضِ part
بعض
baAAdi
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضِ الْأَمْرِ (of) the matter
کاموں ومعاملات
alamri
أ م ر
أمر الْأَمْرِ وَٱللّٰهُ But Allah
اوراللہ
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ knows
جانتا ہے
yaAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم يَعْلَمُ إِسْرَارَهُمْ their secrets
ان کے اسرارورموز
israrahum
س ر ر
أسر إِسْرَارَهُمْ ٢٦

قَالَ كَرِهَ نَزَلَ إِلَٰه طَاعَ فِي بَعَضَ أمر إِلَٰه علِم أسر

That is because they (the hypocrites) said to those (Jews) who did not like what Allah had sent down, “We will follow you in some of the matters.” But Allah knows their secrets.

47:27

فَكَيْفَ Then how?
پس کیا حال ہو گا؟

ك ي ف
كَيدَ فَكَيْفَ إِذَا when
جب

NA إِذَا تَوَفَّتْهُمُ take them in death
روح قبض کریں گےان کی
tawaffathumu
و ف ي
وَفَى تَوَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ the Angels
فرشتے
almalaikatu
م ل ك
ملك الْمَلَآئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ striking
وہ مارتے ہوں گے
yadriboona
ض ر ب
ضَرَبَ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ their faces
ان کے چہروں پر
wujoohahum
و ج ه
وَجَهَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ and their backs
اور ان کی پیٹھوں پر
waadbarahum
د ب ر
دبر وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ ٢٧

كَيدَ وَفَى ملك ضَرَبَ وَجَهَ دبر

Then, how about when the angels bring death to them, beating on their faces and backs?

47:28

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ(سب)
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ (is) because they
اس وجہ سے بیشک وہ( کہ)
biannahumu

NA بِأَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُواْ followed
پیروی کی تھی انہوں نے
ittabaAAoo
ت ب ع
تبِع اتَّبَعُواْ مَآ what
اس( چیز )کی جو
ma

NA مَآ أَسْخَطَ angered
ناراض کر دیا
askhata
س خ ط
سَخَطَ Angry , Annoyed , Discontent أَسْخَطَ اللهَ Allah
اللہ کو
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ وَكَرِهُوا and hated

wakarihoo
ك ر ه
كَرِهَ وَكَرِهُوا رِضْوَانَهُ His pleasure
اس (اللہ)کی رضامندی
ridwanahu
ر ض و
رَضِيَ رِضْوَانَهُ فَأَحْبَطَ so He made worthless
پس اس نےضائع کر دیئے
faahbata
ح ب ط
حَبَطَ Failure , Defeat , Frustrate فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ٢٨

تبِع سَخَطَ إِلَٰه كَرِهَ رَضِيَ حَبَطَ عَمِلَ

That is because they followed what brings anger to Allah and disliked what pleases Him, so their deeds were made useless.

47:29

أَمْ Or do
یا ۔کیا
Am

NA أَمْ حَسِبَ think
گمان کئے ہوئے ہیں
hasiba
ح س ب
حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى قُلُوبِهِم their hearts
ان کے دلوں
quloobihim
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ (is) a disease
مرض وروگ ہے
maradun
م ر ض
مَرِضَ مَّرَضٌ أَن that
جو کہ
an

NA أَن لَّن never
ہرگز نہ
lan

NA لَّن يُخْرِجَ will bring forth
ظاہر کرے گا
yukhrija
خ ر ج
خرج يُخْرِجَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ أَضْغَانَهُمْ their hatred

adghanahum
ض غ ن
ضَغِنَ Grudge , Resent , Secret Hatred أَضْغَانَهُمْ ٢٩

حَسَبَ فِي قلب مَرِضَ خرج إِلَٰه ضَغِنَ

Do those with sickness in their hearts think Allah will not bring out their inner grudges?

47:30

وَلَوْ And if
اور اگرچہ
Walaw

NA وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ We willed
ہم چاہتے
nashao
ش ي أ
شِاءَ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيْنَاكَهُمْ surely We could show them to you

laaraynakahum
ر أ ي
رَأَى لَأَرَيْنَاكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم and you would know them

falaAAaraftahum
ع ر ف
عَرَفَ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم بِسِيمَاهُمْ by their marks

biseemahum
س و م
سِيمَا Mark , Characteristic , Expression بِسِيمَاهُمْ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ but surely you will know them

walataAArifannahum
ع ر ف
عَرَفَ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ فِى by
سے
fee

فِي فِى لَحْنِ (the) tone
اندازِ
lahni
ل ح ن
لَحَنَ لَحْنِ الْقَوْلِ (of their) speech
گفتگو
alqawli
ق و ل
قَالَ الْقَوْلِ وَٱللّٰهُ And Allah
اوراللہ
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ knows
جانتا ہے
yaAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم يَعْلَمُ أَعْمَالَكُمْ your deeds
تمہارےاعمال کو
aAAmalakum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَكُمْ ٣٠

شِاءَ رَأَى عَرَفَ سِيمَا عَرَفَ فِي لَحَنَ قَالَ إِلَٰه علِم عَمِلَ

And if We wanted, We could have shown them to you so that you would recognize them with their marks. Certainly, you will know them by the tone of their words. And Allah knows your deeds.

47:31

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ And surely We will test you

Walanabluwannakum
ب ل و
بلو Test , Misfortune, Trial, Calamity, وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ نَعْلَمَ We make evident
ہم جانچ پرکھ لیں
naAAlama
ع ل م
علِم نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ those who strive

almujahideena
ج ه د
جَهَدَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ among you
تم میں سے
minkum

NA مِنكُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ and the patient ones
اورصابروں کو
waalssabireena
ص ب ر
صَبَرَ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَا and We will test

wanabluwa
ب ل و
بلو Test , Misfortune, Trial, Calamity, وَنَبْلُوَا أَخْبَارَكُمْ your affairs
تمہارے حالات سے
akhbarakum
خ ب ر
خَبَرَ Know , News , Knowledge أَخْبَارَكُمْ ٣١

بلو علِم جَهَدَ صَبَرَ بلو خَبَرَ

And We will test you until We know those who are making efforts among you and are patient (in adversity), and We will examine you thoroughly.

47:32

إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک
Inna

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve

kafaroo
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا and turn away
اور روکا انہوں نے
wasaddoo
ص د د
صَدَّ وَصَدُّوا عَن from
سے
AAan

NA عَن سَبِيلِ (the) way of
راہ
sabeeli
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِ اللهِ Allah
اللہ کی
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ وَشَآقُّوا and oppose

washaqqoo
ش ق ق
شَقَّ Split , Tear , Break , Hardship وَشَآقُّوا الرَّسُولَ the Messenger
رسول کی
alrrasoola
ر س ل
رَسِلَ الرَّسُولَ مِن from
سے
min

NA مِن بَعْدِ after
بعد
baAAdi
ب ع د
بعُد بَعْدِ مَا [what]
جوکہ
ma

NA مَا تَبَيَّنَ (has been) made clear
واضح ہو گئی
tabayyana
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ to them
لیے ان کے
lahumu

NA لَهُمُ الْهُدَىٰ the guidance
ہدایت
alhuda
ه د ي
هَدَى الْهُدَىٰ لَن never
ہرگز نہیں
lan

NA لَن يَضُرُّوا will they harm
وہ بگاڑ سکیں گے
yaduroo
ض ر ر
ضَرَّ يَضُرُّوا اللهَ Allah
اللہ کا
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ شَيْئًا (in) anything
کچھ بھی
shayan
ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَيْئًا وَسَيُحْبِطُ and He will make worthless

wasayuhbitu
ح ب ط
حَبَطَ Failure , Defeat , Frustrate وَسَيُحْبِطُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ their deeds
ان کے اعمال
aAAmalahum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ٣٢

كَفَرَ صَدَّ سَبَلَ إِله شَقَّ رَسِلَ بعُد بَا نَ هَدَى ضَرَّ إِلَٰه شِاءَ حَبَطَ عَمِلَ

Indeed, those who did not believe and opposed the path of Allah, and separated from the Messenger after the guidance was made clear to them, would never be able to make a loss for Allah in anything. And He will make their deeds useless.

47:33

يَاأَيُّهَا O you
اے تم
Yaayyuha

NA يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ who
وہ لوگو جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُواْ believe!
ایمان لائےوہ
amanoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمَنُواْ أَطِيعُوا Obey
اطاعت کرو
ateeAAoo
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey أَطِيعُوا اللهَ Allah
اللہ کی
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ وَأَطِيعُوا and obey
اور اطاعت کروتم
waateeAAoo
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ the Messenger
رسول کی
alrrasoola
ر س ل
رَسِلَ الرَّسُولَ وَلَا and (do) not
اور مت
wala

NA وَلَا تُبْطِلُوٓا make vain
باطل کرکےضائع کرو تم
tubtiloo
ب ط ل
بَطَلَ Invalid , False , Abolish تُبْطِلُوٓا أَعْمَالَكُمْ your deeds
تمہارےاعمال کو
aAAmalakum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَكُمْ ٣٣

أَ مُنَ طَاعَ إِلَٰه طَاعَ رَسِلَ بَطَلَ عَمِلَ

O you who believe! Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and do not make your deeds useless.

47:34

إِنَّ Indeed

Inna

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا disbelieve

كَفَرَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا and turn away
اور روکا انہوں نے

ص د د
صَدَّ وَصَدُّوا عَن from

NA عَن سَبِيلِ (the) way

سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِ اللهِ (of) Allah

Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ ثُمَّ then
پھر
thumma

NA ثُمَّ مَاتُوا died
مر گئےوہ
matoo
م و ت
مَاتَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ while they
جبکہ وہ
wahum

NA وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ (were) disbelievers
کافرہی تھے
kuffarun
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن never
پس ہرگز نہیں
falan

NA فَلَن يَغْفِرَ will forgive
معاف کرے گا
yaghfira
غ ف ر
غفر يَغْفِرَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ
Allahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ لَهُمْ them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ ٣٤

كَفَرَ صَدَّ سَبَلَ إِله مَاتَ كَفَرَ غفر إِلَٰه

Those who do not believe and turn away from the path of Allah and then die while they are nonbelievers, Allah will never forgive them.

47:35

فَلَا So (do) not
پس نہ
Fala

NA فَلَا تَهِنُوا weaken

هَانَ تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوٓا and call
اور بلاؤ تم

د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread وَتَدْعُوٓا إِلَى for

ila

NA إِلَى السَّلْمِ peace
امن و سلامتی کے
alssalmi
س ل م
سلِم السَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ while you
جب کہ تم
waantumu

NA وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ (are) superior
بلند و غالب رہو گے
alaAAlawna
ع ل و
عَلَا الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَٱللّٰهُ and Allah
اوراللہ ہے
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ مَعَكُمْ (is) with you
تمہارے ساتھ
maAAakum

NA مَعَكُمْ وَلَن and never
اور ہرگز نہیں
walan

NA وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ will deprive you
کمی کرے گا تمہیں
yatirakum
و ت ر
ترك يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ (of) your deeds
اعمال میں تمہارے
aAAmalakum
ع م ل
عَمِلَ أَعْمَالَكُمْ ٣٥

هَانَ دَعَا سلِم عَلَا إِلَٰه ترك عَمِلَ

So, never become easy (neglectful), and call to the peace while you are elevated. Allah is with you, and He will never abandon (make unrewarded) your deeds.

47:36

إِنَّمَا Only
البتہ صرف
Innama

NA إِنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ the life
زندگی ہے
alhayatu
ح ي ى
حي الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا (of) the world
دنیا کی
alddunya
د ن و
دَنَا الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ (is) play
محض کھیل
laAAibun
ل ع ب
لَعِبَ لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ and amusement
اور تماشہ
walahwun
ل ه و
لها وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن And if
اور اگر
wain

NA وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا you believe
تم ایمان لاؤ
tuminoo
أ م ن
أمُن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا and fear (Allah)

watattaqoo
و ق ي
تقى وَتَتَّقُوا يُؤْتِكُمْ He will give you
وہ دے گاتمہیں
yutikum
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ your rewards
تمہارے اجورو انعامات
ojoorakum
أ ج ر
أَجَرَ Reward , Wages , Rent أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا and not
اور نہیں
wala

NA وَلَا يَسْأَلْكُمْ will ask you
وہ مانگے گا تم سے
yasalkum
س أ ل
سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging يَسْأَلْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ (for) your wealth
تمہارےاموال
amwalakum
م و ل
مَال أَمْوَالَكُمْ ٣٦

حي دَنَا لَعِبَ لها أمُن تقى أتى أَجَرَ سأل مَال

The life of this world is only playing and enjoying. But if you believe and are fearful, you will be given your rewards, and He Does not ask you for your possessions (wealth).

47:37

إِن If
اگر
In

NA إِن يَسْأَلْكُمُوهَا He were to ask you for it

سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging يَسْأَلْكُمُوهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ and press you
پھر وہ اصرار کرے تم سے
fayuhfikum
ح ف و
حاف فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوا you will withhold

tabkhaloo
ب خ ل
بخِل Stingy, Miser, Give Reluctantly تَبْخَلُوا وَيُخْرِجْ and He will bring forth
تووہ ظاہر کر دے گا
wayukhrij
خ ر ج
خرج وَيُخْرِجْ أَضْغَانَكُمْ your hatred
رنجشیں وکینے تمہارے
adghanakum
ض غ ن
ضَغِنَ Grudge , Resent , Secret Hatred أَضْغَانَكُمْ ٣٧

سأل حاف بخِل خرج ضَغِنَ

If He were to ask you about it (your wealth), you would restrict (limit), you would become stingy, and your resentments will be brought up.

47:38

هَٰٓأَنتُمْ Here you are
سنو!۔ تم ہو
Haantum

NA هَٰٓأَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these
وہ لوگ
haolai

NA هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدْعَوْنَ called
تم بلائے جاتےہو
tudAAawna
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا to spend
تا کہ خرچ کرو تم
litunfiqoo
ن ف ق
نفق لِتُنفِقُوا فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى سَبِيلِ (the) way
راہ
sabeeli
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلِ اللهِ (of) Allah
اللہ کی
Allahi
أ ل ه
إِله god اللهِ فَمِنكُم but among you
تو درمیان تمہارے
faminkum

NA فَمِنكُم مَّن (are some) who
و ہ ہیں جو
man

NA مَّن يَبْخَلُ withhold
بخل کرتے ہیں
yabkhalu
ب خ ل
بخِل Stingy, Miser, Give Reluctantly يَبْخَلُ وَمَن and whoever
اورجو کوئی
waman

NA وَمَن يَبْخَلْ withholds
بخل کرتا ہے
yabkhal
ب خ ل
بخِل Stingy, Miser, Give Reluctantly يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا then only
توالبتہ صرف
fainnama

NA فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ he withholds
وہ بخل کرتا ہے
yabkhalu
ب خ ل
بخِل Stingy, Miser, Give Reluctantly يَبْخَلُ عَن from
سے
AAan

NA عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ himself
اس کے نفس
nafsihi
ن ف س
نفُس نَّفْسِهِۦ وَٱللّٰهُ But Allah
اوراللہ ہی
waAllahu
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity وَٱللّٰهُ الْغَنِىُّ (is) Free of need
غنی وبے نیاز ہے
alghaniyyu
غ ن ي
غنِي الْغَنِىُّ وَأَنتُمُ while you
اور تم
waantumu

NA وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَآءُ (are) the needy

ف ق ر
فَقَرَ الْفُقَرَآءُ وَإِن And if
اور اگر
wain

NA وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا you turn away
تم پھر جاؤ گے
tatawallaw
و ل ي
وَلِيَ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ He will replace you
(اللہ)بدل ڈالے گا
yastabdil
ب د ل
بَدَلَ Change , Replace يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا (with) a people
قوم ۔ لوگ((دوسرے)
qawman
ق و م
قَامَ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ other than you
تمہارے علاوہ
ghayrakum
غ ي ر
غير غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ then
پھر
thumma

NA ثُمَّ لَا not
نہیں
la

NA لَا يَكُونُوا they will be
ہوں گےوہ
yakoonoo
ك و ن
كَانَ يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ (the) likes of you

مَثَلَ أَمْثَالَكُمْ ٣٨

دَعَا نفق فِي سَبَلَ إِله بخِل بخِل بخِل نفُس إِلَٰه غنِي فَقَرَ وَلِيَ بَدَلَ قَامَ غير كَانَ مَثَلَ

Here you are, asked to spend in the path of Allah. Among you (some) who become stingy and whoever becomes stingy has stinginess on himself. Allah is above any need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace your nation with another, and they will not be like you.
